Using sodium hypochlorite, 15% hydrochloric
acid, and 25% sodium chlorite as precursors,
the chemical-based generators in the
P-3M Chemical Series produce high-purity ClO2.
The series design utilizes a two-stage
reaction module operating under a
vacuum. Sodium hypochlorite reacts
with the hydrochloric acid to produce
chlorine gas. In the second stage,
the chlorine gas reacts with 25% sodium
chlorite to produce chlorine dioxide.
Each generator in the P-3M Chemical Series
produces high-purity chlorine dioxide
suitable for municipal drinking water,
food processing and industrial applications.
Generators are available in automated,
semi-manual and manual models.
